First RAK Project - Visiting Pediatric Ward in DSH

On 29 December 2007, at about 10.30 a.m we visited the Damansara Specialist Hospital to deliver the party packs for the young patients in the pediatric ward.

Due to certain hospital policies, we were unable to visit the young patients personally. However, the sweet and kind Ms Emily Kwan - the Executive Coordinator for the hospital and her colleague offered to help us deliver the party packs to the children at the pediatric ward.

It is quite sad for us not to have seen the expression on each of the children's face when they received the party packs, but we really hope that the party packs have brighten up their day.

Spreading Kindness - the begining

It all begins when we found this website http://www.actsofkindness.org/. This website encourages and promotes Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) in the community.

The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation was formed to inspire and facilitate the practice of kindness. Through the dissemination of ideas and the development of materials and programs, they have helped kindness coordinators worldwide incorporate kindness into thousands of schools and communities. As people tap into their own generous human spirit and share kindness with one another, they discover for themselves the power of kindness to effect positive change. When kindness is expressed, healthy relationships are created, community connections are nourished, and people are inspired to pass kindness on to others.

Inspired by this website, we have agreed to practice Random Acts of Kindness.
We hope that everything we do to share and promote kindness will help make the world a better place.

Thank you.
